WHO WE ARE

The Marquee is a stunning ‘pop up’ wedding venue, based just outside of Burnley, run by Lindsay and Neil, the current owners of Tattersal Farm, Hurstwood which has been in Neil’s family for over 150 years. Linday and Neil have been hosting outstanding weddings since 2019, with a proven track record for making sure you and your guest have the most magical day . ‘We’re passionate about what we do and admire the beauty of our farm, we like to think you become part of our family so if you’re looking for a cool, unique and alternative venue – we’re here for you!’

THE MARQUEE

Our contemporary marquee can seat 120 day guests and 160 in the evening. It comes complete with statement lighting inside and out, dining tables and chairs, and our ‘Drunk in Love’ fully staffed, in house bar The venue is available the day before your wedding from 4pm for setup until 10am following your big day

OUTSIDE AREA

We have seating areas where you and your guest can enjoy a drink, whilst admiring gorgeous panoramic views. At night you can keep warm by the fire pit, surrounded by twinkling festoon lights

Honestly, when we picked this venue for our wedding, we had no idea just how amazing it would be! The staff are great - nothing is too much trouble! The views are STUNNING! And everyone loved it! Lindsay is so accommodating and will try and cater to everything you want with your wedding! 100% recommend!

Simply brilliant! From the very first meeting to picking things up after the wedding Lindsay, Neil and Joanne could not have done more for us. They bent over backwards to help make my daughters wedding as special as she is to us. We chose July for a sunny outdoor wedding, in great British style the weather was against us. Moving to the barn wasn't initially what we'd have liked but it absolutely blew us away stunning both inside and out. The tractor and trailer to the marquee only added to the fun of the day and made one little boy very, very happy! Lindsay, Neil and the team couldn't have been more accommodating to our needs in the run up and throughout our wedding journey. Every staff member was outstanding but a special mention to Joanne our coordinator for the day who went above and beyond anything imaginable and special shout out to Amy who ran through soaked fields to help get the perfect photos, we can't wait to share them with you all. Thank you team simply fields, you're simply perfect. All of their efforts combined meant we didn't notice a cloud in the sky let alone any rain.
